My name is Sandra Kintz
and I live on the Oregon coast in Florence, Oregon. I started my pattern design business, named
"Collectible Lighthouse Quilts", in 1998 after
working 18 years in Quality Assurance for an aerospace company in
California. My husband Don, who claims to be my shipping & handling
department, also assists me by providing the initial lighthouse
sketches. From there I develop the functional pattern components & the
assembly instructions.

Presently, I have completed all nine of
the Oregon lighthouse patterns, six of the California & three of the
Washington. These paper-pieced patterns have been generally well
received by quilters. In fact, some quilting groups have chosen select
patterns to be their "block of the month". Also, I am
especially proud of a large quilt composed of eight of my lighthouse
designs, made by a group of church quilters & displayed in the
sanctuary of their church under the title of "God is the
Light".
